Breakfast at Bamboo Orchid Cottage

After a refreshing night's sleep, and the anticipation of a great day ahead, what could be better than to arrive at the table with a sumptuous breakfast all ready for you. In the cool rainforest we like to start our day in style. A warm fire in the fireplace, soft wake up music and steaming cups of that famous estate grown Kona coffee or our own blended herb teas.

Save your appetite for a hearty and mouth-watering breakfast spread served each morning in the sunny dining room overlooking the forest and gardens. A bountiful, candle- lit table brimming with tropical goodies awaits you.

The menu is seasonal, but always includes a bounty of fresh picked in -season island fruit from local farms. Try juicy mangoes, delicious papayas, sweet Ka'u oranges and grapefruits, Waimea strawberries, exotic rambutan, local apple banana, island grown melons and sugar- sweet pineapple like you've never tasted before.

Our decadent European -style breakfast buffet includes an assortment of home-baked breads, scones, Danish or coffeecakes, exotic tropical fruits, served with local made jams and fresh creamery butter. Indulge in a healthy island smoothie, or a yogurt, granola and fruit parfait. Choose from a lavish spread of local delicacies, or hard-boiled eggs.

After breakfast, you'll be ready to take on the Park, or maybe just retreat to the Jacuzzi!
